Head baker — York County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a head baker in York County, South Carolina. You will be based at a cake shop. Ideal candidate: • Familiar with deck, rack and convection ovens • Food handler / hygiene certificate • Understanding of food-safety and HACCP basics The role involves: • Score the top of loaves before baking • Check finished products for colour, crumb and weight • Laminate puff and croissant dough by folding in the butter • Prove dough in the proofer at the right temperature and humidity Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
