Gas metal arc welder — Henry County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a gas metal arc welder in Henry County, Illinois. You will be based on a structural steel site. Day-to-day duties: • Control distortion with a balanced welding sequence • Maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose • Bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding • Load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls • Clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead You should have: • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings Full-time, day shift.
