Concrete finisher wanted in Montgomery County

Join our team: we are hiring a concrete finisher in Montgomery County, Iowa. You will work at a precast concrete yard. Ideal candidate: • ITI in masonry or civil work an added advantage • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long hours on your feet • Willing to wear safety boots, helmet and full PPE Day to day you will mix concrete to the specified grade (M15, M20, M25) by hand or in a mixer; float and trowel surfaces with a bull float and power trowel for a smooth finish; carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab; cut control and expansion joints at the correct spacing; cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days; give broom or steel-trowel finishes as specified.
