Urgent requirement: we are hiring a sewing machine operator in Seminole County, Georgia. You should have: • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown Day-to-day duties: • Stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance • Thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension • Press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges • Match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching 5+ years on the tools preferred. $170 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
