Vacancy available: final inspection operator (Iowa)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a final inspection operator in Delaware County, Iowa. You will be based at a busy manufacturing plant. What we are looking for: • Strong attention to detail and accurate record-keeping • Confident using vernier callipers, micrometers and gauges Day-to-day duties: • Operate height gauges, profile projectors and coordinate measuring tools • Verify dimensions against the tolerance limits on the technical drawing • Record measurements on inspection sheets and SPC charts • Inspect welds, paint finish and surface defects under inspection lighting 6+ years on the tools preferred. Six days a week, one day off. Pay around $170 per day, based on your experience. Contact us to fix an interview.
