Plant operator wanted in Haywood County

Now hiring: we are hiring a plant operator in Haywood County, North Carolina. You will work at an injection moulding unit. What we are looking for: • Knowledge of lockout-tagout and machine safety • Able to read job cards and basic engineering drawings The role involves: • Measure parts with vernier calliper, micrometer and go/no-go gauges • Report breakdowns to the maintenance fitter • Key in cycle parameters such as speed, feed rate and temperature • Clear jams and remove rejected parts from the line • Run the first-off piece and check it against the drawing • Change tooling, dies and moulds during product changeovers Performance bonus on top of base pay. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
