Thermal insulation technician — Wahkiakum County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a thermal insulation technician in Wahkiakum County, Washington. You will be based at a cold storage facility. Day-to-day duties: • Fix XPS and EPS boards to external walls with adhesive and mechanical anchors • Apply liquid waterproofing to bathrooms and terraces before tiling • Seal gaps around windows, doors and service penetrations with sealant • Work to drawings, hitting the specified U-values and insulation thickness • Lag hot and cold water pipes with rockwool sections and aluminium cladding • Torch-on bituminous waterproofing membrane to flat roofs, basements and foundations Requirements: • Comfortable working at height and off scaffolding • Sharp eye for sealing joints and avoiding thermal bridges Rotating shifts.
