Great opportunity: we are hiring a gas pipeline fitter in Rowan County, Kentucky. Day to day you will locate and repair gas leaks and replace corroded pipe sections; connect combi boilers, water heaters and gas cookers to the supply; braze copper gas lines and weld carbon-steel pipe joints; thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant; carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply. You should have: • Clean, methodical and safety-conscious • Able to read isometric and site drawings • Own hand tools and pipe wrenches Rotating shifts. Meals and transport allowance provided.
