We are recruiting: shuttering and concrete hand (Iowa)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a shuttering and concrete hand in Fremont County, Iowa. The role involves load, hoist and barrow concrete to the upper floors; patch honeycombs and tie-rod holes with non-shrink grout; carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab; lay PCC blinding and the damp-proof membrane over the prepared subgrade; discharge and place concrete from transit mixers and pumps into the forms; strip and clean formwork once the concrete has gained strength. You should have: • Willing to wear safety boots, helmet and full PPE • 2+ years on RCC and concreting works • Able to read structural drawings and bar bending schedules On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
