Great opportunity: we are hiring an argon arc welder in Del Norte County, California. You will work at an automotive body and exhaust shop. Day to day you will clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush; inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut; read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing; keep the arc length and travel speed consistent. What we are looking for: • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces Meals and transport allowance provided.
