Production welder wanted in Colbert County

Now hiring: we are hiring a production welder in Colbert County, Alabama. The role involves: • Maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose • Read fabrication drawings and weld symbols • Set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator • Bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding • Set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing Requirements: • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test • ITI in welder trade or equivalent Full-time, day shift.
