Machinist wanted in DeKalb County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a machinist in DeKalb County, Tennessee. You will be based at a busy garment factory. The role involves: • Sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required • Match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching • Press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges • Topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish • Attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet • Keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line What we are looking for: • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines Six days a week, one day off. $2,700 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
