Great opportunity: we are hiring a rigging foreman in Putnam County, Indiana. You will work in a heavy machinery workshop. The role involves carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle; select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight; secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists; establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area; inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles 5+ years on the tools preferred.
