Vacancy available: we are hiring a press operator in Lowndes County, Georgia. The job is on the press shop floor. Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of press safety, guarding and lockout-tagout • Able to read engineering drawings and job cards • Physically fit to stand a full shift and lift blanks up to 20 kg The role involves fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting; clear scrap and offcuts from the die area; operate mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic power presses; punch, blank, pierce, bend and form sheet metal components.
