We are recruiting: we are hiring a gtaw welder in Turner County, Georgia. The job is at a stainless steel fabrication shop. Ideal candidate: • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight On the job you will handle: • Set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal • Strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode • Feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle • Inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion • Read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters Full-time with occasional weekends.
