Trowel-trade bricklayer — York County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a trowel-trade bricklayer in York County, Pennsylvania. The job is at a residential building site. What we are looking for: • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day • Proven experience laying facing and engineering bricks The role involves: • Spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel • Buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge • Mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser • Pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
