You will run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec; clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding; clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush; keep the arc length and travel speed consistent; feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool. You should have: • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
