We are recruiting: we are hiring a heavy equipment operator (dozer) in Ritchie County, West Virginia. The job is at an open-cast mine. Requirements: • Good understanding of cut-and-fill and batter slopes • Proven experience operating crawler dozers (D6 to D8 class) • Valid heavy equipment or plant operator licence On the job you will handle: • Grease pins and bushes and check undercarriage tension daily • Backfill trenches and foundations once services are laid • Push-load motor scrapers during bulk earthmoving • Clear land of trees, stumps and debris before earthworks begin • Work to the dig plan and the banksman's signals • Grade and level subgrade for roads, pads and platforms 5+ years on the tools preferred. We offer $2,900 per month plus benefits. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
