Vacancy available: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Crosby County, Texas. The job is in a sheet-metal fabrication unit. On a typical shift you will grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish; sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size; back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise; inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut; strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal; set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks. You should have: • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols Six days a week, one day off. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow.
