Backhoe operator • Winkler County, Texas

We are recruiting: we are hiring a backhoe operator in Winkler County, Texas. The job is in an open-cast quarry. You should have: • Sound understanding of daily maintenance and greasing • Own PPE — safety boots, hi-vis and hard hat • Confident working to fine grade and tight tolerances Day-to-day duties: • Lift and place pipes, manholes and precast sections with the bucket and chains • Dig and trim drainage channels and attenuation ponds • Track the machine on and off low-loaders for transport • Grade, level and batter slopes to the required gradient • Backfill trenches and compact the fill in layers • Carry out daily greasing and check hydraulic oil, coolant and fuel levels 6+ years on the tools preferred. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
