Glazier — Newcastle upon Tyne

Vacancy available: we are hiring a glazier in Newcastle upon Tyne, England. On the job you will handle: • Glaze shopfronts, curtain walls and glass partitions • Install mirrors, shower screens and glass balustrades • Cut glass to size using a glass cutter and running pliers • Install toughened and laminated safety glass • Grind and polish cut edges to take off the sharp arris • Handle large panes using suction cups and a lifting frame Ideal candidate: • Aware of safe glass handling and PPE such as cut-resistant gloves • Driving licence for site-to-site work preferred • Confident handling and lifting heavy glass panes Overtime paid at a premium rate.
