We are recruiting: we are hiring a trowel-trade bricklayer in North Lincolnshire, England. Your main tasks: • Building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation • Setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge • Buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge • Mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser • Raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets Pay around £3,150 per month, based on your experience.
