Car electrician — City of Roanoke

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a car electrician in City of Roanoke, Virginia. The job is at a car service garage. Day to day you will test batteries, alternators and starter motors with a multimeter; read and clear ECU fault codes; fit car stereos, reverse cameras and dashcams; read wiring diagrams and trace circuits; programme keys and reset immobilisers; check charging system output and battery voltage. What we are looking for: • Knowledge of CAN-bus and modern ECU systems • Good colour vision for identifying wire colours • 2+ years' hands-on auto electrical experience Rotating shifts.
