Automotive paint technician — Calhoun County

Vacancy available: we are hiring an automotive paint technician in Calhoun County, Michigan. The role involves: • Sand and feather-edge damaged panels before painting • Mask off trim, glass and rubber seals with tape and paper • Wet-sand and buff out runs, orange peel and dust nibs • Mix two-pack (2K) clear coat with hardener in the correct ratio • Apply etch primer to aluminium and galvanised panels • Blend new paint into adjacent panels for an invisible repair What we are looking for: • Confident with wet-sanding and machine polishing • Sound knowledge of 2K paints, primers and hardeners • Comfortable working in a spray booth with full PPE 6+ years on the tools preferred. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
