Carpenter wanted in Brunswick County

Join our team: we are hiring a carpenter in Brunswick County, Virginia. On a typical shift you will cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet; fix studwork and plasterboard partitions; read and work from architectural drawings and cutting lists; check work for level, plumb and square with a spirit level; hang internal and external doors, fitting hinges, locks and handles; assemble bespoke and flat-pack kitchen units and fit worktops. Requirements: • Confident with hand and power tools such as saws, routers and planers • Own basic hand tools • CSCS card for site-based work an advantage 3+ years on the tools preferred.
