Cnc setter-operator wanted in Montgomery County

Now hiring: we are hiring a cnc setter-operator in Montgomery County, Maryland. You will work at a busy machine shop. Ideal candidate: • Confident with micrometers, vernier calipers and bore gauges • Experience with carbide tooling and insert selection On the job you will handle: • Adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish • Set up workpieces in three-jaw chucks and collets • Change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear • Run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles • Deburr and chamfer machined parts by hand Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. $22 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
