Argon welder wanted in Hamilton County

We are recruiting: we are hiring an argon welder in Hamilton County, Tennessee. You will work on an industrial construction site. What we are looking for: • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances • Own basic hand tools and PPE • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight On the job you will handle: • Set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator • Inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion • Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions • Carry out 6G pipe welds where required • Set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal • Run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints Six days a week, one day off.
