Urgent requirement: we are hiring a horizontal milling machine operator in Lassen County, California. The job is in a CNC machining unit. You should have: • Willing to work rotating shifts and night shift • Physically fit to stand and lift workpieces • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron On a typical shift you will run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production; mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square; measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges; set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines. Pay around $200 per day, based on your experience. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
