Now hiring: we are hiring a gang bricklayer in Langlade County, Wisconsin. The role involves spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel; laying bricks to the line, level and plumb; mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser; pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints. Requirements: • CSCS card or willingness to obtain one • Proven experience laying facing and engineering bricks • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
