Crawler crane operator • Crawford County, Georgia

Now hiring: we are hiring a crawler crane operator in Crawford County, Georgia. You will be based on a bridge and infrastructure project. Day-to-day duties: • Rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams • Climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins • Fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports • Follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger • Park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift Requirements: • Able to read load charts and lifting plans • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination • Physically fit to climb ladders and work long shifts Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
