Steel erection rigger wanted in Luna County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a steel erection rigger in Luna County, New Mexico. You will work in a heavy machinery workshop. On the job you will handle: • Set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads • Inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use • Read lift plans and method statements before starting • Guide loads through tight openings into their final position • Fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads • Establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams Pay around $3,700 per month, based on your experience. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
