Urgent requirement: lift technician (Illinois)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a lift technician in Massac County, Illinois. The job is on a high-rise construction site. What we are looking for: • Valid driving licence for site call-outs • Physically fit to lift heavy components and crawl in tight spaces • ITI in electrical/mechanical or an equivalent trade certificate The role involves: • Run load and overload tests with test weights • Replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays • Respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers • Service the traction motor, brake and gearbox • Carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes Six days a week, one day off.
