Now hiring: we are hiring a baker in Choctaw County, Mississippi. You will be based at a café with an on-site bakery. Your main tasks: • Decorate cakes with icing, fondant and fresh cream • Knead and develop dough by hand and in the spiral mixer • Rotate stock and follow FIFO on raw materials • Monitor oven temperature and baking time for each batch • Roll out short-crust and biscuit dough • Shape loaves, rolls, baguettes and buns by hand What we are looking for: • Understanding of food-safety and HACCP basics • Able to stand for long hours in a hot kitchen • Accurate at weighing and following recipes At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
