Immediate opening: we are hiring a gtaw welder in Bibb County, Georgia. You will work at a precision engineering workshop. The role involves inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion; run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints; strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode; feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle; set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal. What we are looking for: • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
