Reinforcement steel fixer — Champaign County

Now hiring: we are hiring a reinforcement steel fixer in Champaign County, Illinois. You will be based on a civil engineering bridge and roads site. What we are looking for: • Willing to work outdoors in all weather and to tight pour dates • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing • Valid site safety card and PPE (helmet, boots, gloves) The role involves install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat; place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing; read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules; assemble column and beam cages on the bench.
