Fire and safety officer — Martin County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a fire and safety officer in Martin County, Minnesota. You will work at a busy construction site. Requirements: • Comfortable working at height and inside confined spaces • Clear spoken delivery for toolbox talks and inductions You will verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates; ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site; carry out toolbox talks with the crew before each shift; check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements; record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date; deliver site induction to new workers, subcontractors and visitors.
