We are recruiting: we are hiring a rebar fixer in Lafayette Parish, Louisiana. The role involves: • Read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust • Fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover • Cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder Ideal candidate: • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Own basic tools such as pliers, tie hook, tape and level • Willing to work outdoors in all weather and to tight pour dates Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
