Join our team: we are hiring a roofing technician in Elmore County, Alabama. On a typical shift you will install metal flashing around chimneys and skylights; bed and point ridge tiles with mortar; replace cracked or slipped tiles and slates; lay underlayment and tar paper before tiling; seal joints and penetrations with mastic and lead flashing. Ideal candidate: • Willing to work outdoors in all weather • Able to read roof pitch and set the falls • Working-at-height or scaffold safety certificate Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
