The role involves read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules; fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover; bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine; form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions; cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder; check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour.
