Natural gas fitter wanted in Jefferson County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a natural gas fitter in Jefferson County, Kansas. The job is in customers' homes and kitchens. You should have: • Sound knowledge of gas safety regulations and pressure testing • Driving licence for travel between sites • Competent in pipe threading, brazing and PE electrofusion The role involves: • Connect combi boilers, water heaters and gas cookers to the supply • Lay and route steel and copper gas pipe runs to the appliance points • Run polyethylene (PE) service pipe and electrofusion-weld the joints • Complete gas safety certificates and label the finished installation • Test combustion and flue gases with a flue gas analyser • Locate and repair gas leaks and replace corroded pipe sections 5+ years on the tools preferred. $4,900 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
