Great opportunity: pipe TIG welder (Kano State)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a pipe TIG welder in Kibiya, Kano State. Day-to-day duties: • Feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool • Grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish • Inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut • Back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise • Run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec Requirements: • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection Six days a week, one day off.
