Rebar fixer • Powell County, Montana

We are recruiting: we are hiring a rebar fixer in Powell County, Montana. You will be based at a rebar fabrication workshop. You should have: • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing • Own basic tools such as pliers, tie hook, tape and level • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites Day-to-day duties: • Cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder • Form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions • Read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman • Bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine $2,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
