We are recruiting: thermal insulation technician (England)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a thermal insulation technician in Bath and North East Somerset, England. The job is at a cold storage facility. On the job you will handle: • Fit acoustic insulation to partition walls and floating floors • Carry out flood and water tests on waterproofed areas to check for leaks • Work to drawings, hitting the specified U-values and insulation thickness • Measure and cut insulation boards neatly around pipes, ducts and openings • Seal gaps around windows, doors and service penetrations with sealant • Install vapour barriers and seal all joints and overlaps with tape Ideal candidate: • Disciplined about PPE — respirator, gloves and goggles • Confident using a gas torch to bond bituminous membrane • Able to read construction drawings and specifications Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
