Trowel-trade bricklayer • Stoddard County, Missouri

Vacancy available: we are hiring a trowel-trade bricklayer in Stoddard County, Missouri. The job is on a busy housing site. Requirements: • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day • Proven experience laying facing and engineering bricks On a typical shift you will spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel; pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints; buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge; mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser; building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
