Garment machinist wanted in Hancock County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a garment machinist in Hancock County, West Virginia. The job is at a busy garment factory. Ideal candidate: • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line On the job you will handle: • Trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go • Match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching • Operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line • Inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes • Press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges • Thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension Six days a week, one day off.
