Shuttering and concrete hand — Ellis County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a shuttering and concrete hand in Ellis County, Kansas. On the job you will handle: • Give broom or steel-trowel finishes as specified • Patch honeycombs and tie-rod holes with non-shrink grout • Erect and align timber and steel shuttering before each pour • Mix concrete to the specified grade (M15, M20, M25) by hand or in a mixer • Cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days What we are looking for: • Able to read structural drawings and bar bending schedules • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods • Comfortable working at heights and on scaffolds At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. $3,800 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
