Now hiring: we are hiring a gas meter installer in Crawford County, Iowa. You will work at a heating and plumbing contractor. On a typical shift you will complete gas safety certificates and label the finished installation; lay and route steel and copper gas pipe runs to the appliance points; read isometric drawings and mark out the pipe routes; fix pipe clips, brackets and wall sleeves and sleeve pipe through walls; set and adjust regulator outlet pressure with a gauge. What we are looking for: • Competent in pipe threading, brazing and PE electrofusion • Own hand tools and pipe wrenches • Able to read isometric and site drawings Part-time with flexible hours.
