Now hiring: we are hiring a gas pipe fitter in Hickman County, Kentucky. You will be based in customers' homes and kitchens. You will thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant; connect combi boilers, water heaters and gas cookers to the supply; fix pipe clips, brackets and wall sleeves and sleeve pipe through walls; lay and route steel and copper gas pipe runs to the appliance points; check every joint for leaks with soapy water and leak-detection spray; test combustion and flue gases with a flue gas analyser. What we are looking for: • Competent in pipe threading, brazing and PE electrofusion • Able to read isometric and site drawings • Clean, methodical and safety-conscious $4,200 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
