We are recruiting: we are hiring an oven operator in Orangeburg County, South Carolina. The job is in a bread factory. What we are looking for: • Familiar with deck, rack and convection ovens • Able to lift 25 kg flour sacks • Knowledge of dough fermentation and proving The role involves decorate cakes with icing, fondant and fresh cream; laminate puff and croissant dough by folding in the butter; prove dough in the proofer at the right temperature and humidity; pipe and fill cakes, pastries and cream rolls; roll out short-crust and biscuit dough; knead and develop dough by hand and in the spiral mixer.
