We are recruiting: we are hiring a commercial refrigeration engineer in Pitt County, North Carolina. You will be based at a food processing plant. You should have: • Comfortable handling refrigerant gases and gauge manifolds • Valid driving licence for field call-outs On the job you will handle: • Measure the compressor motor's amperage draw with a clamp meter • Trace leaks with an electronic detector and soap solution • Braze copper pipework and joints with an oxy-acetylene torch • Fault-find control boards and defrost timers • Charge systems with refrigerant (R134a, R410a, R404a) to the correct weight • Trace electrical circuits with a multimeter At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
